The welded single-mode 1X2 Fiber Splitter is made in FBT 1x2 10/90 technology, terminated with SC/APC connectors, with overall dimensions of the divider being 3x60mm. It is intended for physical traffic separation in the PON network.
The first advantage of the FBT splitter over the planar splitter is the 'unequal' division of the transmitted signal, meaning the power of the incoming signal at the output is divided as a percentage. The second advantage is the price of an FBT splitter—it is significantly lower than the cost of a planar one. Delivery of unterminated and terminated dividers with any type of connectors is possible.
