External optical cable patch cord from manufacturer
External patch cords are used to interconnect telecommunications equipment with line fiber cables. In Ukraine, such products are manufactured by our company IPCOM. What is an external optical cable

This is a piece of fiber cable from 25 to 200 m long, crimped on both sides with connectors of various designs. Using such conductors, the switchgear is connected to active communication equipment. IPCOM LLC manufactures optical cables based on the requirements of the International Electrotechnical Commission, I-TUT recommendations, which describe in detail the standards for the resistance of the conductor to various external influences, the permissible loss value, and the bending radius.

The presented external optical cable is crimped on both sides with two SC connectors. They have a rectangular body, which is attached to the outlet using special guides, and are fixed with latches. The closed case reliably closes the handpiece from dirt, dust, moisture. The FTTH (iber to the Home) buffer coating technology used in the manufacture of conductors has reduced the cost of production and installation of switching lines.

Patch cords are available in different lengths, combination of optical connectors Epoxy manufacturing technology ensures minimal forward and backward signal loss. The manufacturer produces a series of fiber conductors with various modules, which significantly expands the scope. Below are the main technical characteristics of the patch cord from IPCOM:

To connect equipment, switchgears, connectors of the SC SC type are used.
To polish the connector, the UPC (Ultra Physical Contact) technology is used, which makes it possible to reduce the return, direct losses, amounting to 50 dB, 0.3 dB, respectively, and for cables with a 55 dB module, 0.3 dB.
The optimum diameter of the protective coating is 2x3 mm.
The manufacturer's warranty period is 5 years.
