Optical cable of the OTSPS type is intended for laying in cable ducts (in plastic pipes) and for hanging on poles of communication lines, railway contact network, power lines. The fully dielectric design minimizes installation hazards and prevents short circuits if the phase conductor is touched. The cable contains a central optical module (COM), on top of which an outer sheath is applied with peripheral fiberglass power elements located in it. The free space of the optical module is filled with a hydrophobic compound.
